Hans Op de Beeck, The Girl (2017)

The Girl is a meditative animated film that draws the viewer into the silent world of a young girl. Set in a dreamlike, desolate landscape, the film unfolds slowly through gestures, atmospheres, and moments of solitude. Time seems suspended. A sense of departure, survival, and surrender lingers beneath the surface.
