argos takes part in RendezVous – Brussels Art Week, the annual celebration of Brussels’ vibrant art scene, bringing together galleries, art institutions and artist-run initiatives across the city. On Friday 11 September, argos screens Sincero, apaixonado by Margaux Dauby & Raúl Domingues in the Salon de RendezVous, conceived by Espace Aygo, at the former CLEARING gallery, 311 Avenue Van Volxem.

Sincero, apaixonado was recently added to the argos’ collection and carries forth the words of a man reflecting on the ruins of his love. Various men read and reread fragments of his diary, found in an abandoned house in Portugal, dated 2009. The writer is unknown and yet the voices emanate his restlessness and vulnerability across time. Doubt, tension and internal conflict arises as images of Portuguese countryside sweep by.
