We’re looking for an intern in communication & content creation
About argos
argos is a Brussels-based institution dedicated to audiovisual arts in all their diversity. We support artists, preserve and activate moving-image heritage, and create an open, inclusive environment where different voices, audiences, and perspectives can meet. Our communication aims to reflect that: generous, curious, accessible, and attentive to the world around us.
We are looking for an intern who wants to learn, contribute, and grow with us as part of a small, warm, and collaborative team.
Your role
As part of the communication team, you will contribute to both daily communication tasks and ongoing projects. You will be fully included in our work rhythm and supported throughout your learning process.
Your responsibilities may include:
Content creation: drafting and editing texts, taking pictures and capturing videos, preparing social media posts
Social media support: taking an active role in shaping and implementing our social media plan
Website management: updating pages, uploading content, checking for accuracy
Press relations: helping keep our press list, press releases, and press kits up to date
Data analysis: analysing website visitors or social media engagement, and suggesting improvements
Planning and preparing for our next exhibition
We always aim for a healthy balance: 50% learning-oriented tasks where you gain skills, and 50% supportive tasks that help the organisation run smoothly. We are happy to take your personal preferences and interests into consideration when we discuss your role and responsibilities in more detail.
Who we are looking for
We welcome applications from people with different backgrounds, perspectives, and levels of experience. You don’t need to tick every box to apply, your interest and curiosity matter most.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a good command of English and Dutch or French
Is enrolled in a relevant study programme (communication, journalism, events, digital storytelling, content creation, audiovisual arts, …)
Has an interest in or affinity with (audiovisual) arts
Communicates clearly and respectfully, and enjoys working in a team
What we offer
An internship of at least 2 months (part-time possible) between February and May 2026
Flexible hours depending on your availability and study program
A supportive learning environment where we encourage initiative and questions, and are always open for fresh ideas.
Guidance from the communication team and opportunities to discover other aspects of our organisation
A balanced workload with both creative and practical tasks
We welcome interns throughout the year, so feel free to propose what period works best for you.
Interested?
Send your CV and motivation letter to communication@argosarts.org before 20 January 2026.
We look forward to hearing from you!
If you have access needs or questions about the internship, please feel free to mention them. We are happy to think along.
