The television footage of racing driver Ayrton Senna’s fatal crash on May 1st 1994 during the Grand Prix of San Marino serves for a rigid analysis of the phenomenon Senna while a text runs across the screen, displaying Senna’s biography through a technical description of his racing career. A juxtaposition between the poetic delayed images and the speeding text forces one to make a choice between reading and watching. Exposed to a similar amount of data we start to question thoroughly the ways in which we perceive.
