20/20 Vision: 20 seats with a clear view, 20 spectators with a sharp gaze.

20/20 Vision is our monthly micro-cinema night in the Black Box at argos: a shifting line-up of moving images and video works, from shorts to features, from the archive and beyond. With only 20 chairs for 20 spectators, we gather around for a programme shaped around a topic or a filmmaker.
Before the lights go down, the bar opens and warm bowls of soup are served. Bread on the side, conversation in the air. Then we gather in the dark, share a screen, and let the works unfold. Sometimes poetic, sometimes unsettling, sometimes funny. You never quite know where the evening will take you.
This is not just “watching a film.” It’s a collective viewing experience: eyes on the same screen, minds following different paths, and space afterwards to exchange thoughts. Whether you’re an artist, a student, or just curious about moving images, 20/20 Vision is your chance to discover, reflect, and connect.
